Everyday as I drive the girls to the sitters, I always pass an elderly women who is walking. It does not matter what the weather is, she is out there bundled up in the snow, umbrella in hand when it is raining and dressed perfectly for the weather right now.
She usually walks over to the elementary school to walk the track or I see her as she is walking home.
Well today as the sun was starting to come out from behind the clouds, I see her....she is swinging on the swings!
My first thought was....PEACE! There she is, up every morning walking and today she just swang.....with no one around, the sun shining on her shoulders, the wind blowing her dress....just at PEACE.
I think when things get crazy we just need to step back and be a kid again....just swing!

Little Changes....
I was talking about my blog with a friend of mine and suggested that she starts one up also. Her concerns were that anyone out in cyber space can have access to your blog and she just does not want anyone knowing all her business. So for privacy of my girls I went and deleted their names from the blog.

The lights in my eyes!!!!
Yesterday was a sunny day here in Ohio.....so sunny that M forgot what the sun was. As I was taking her to her first gymnastics class the sun was shining into the back seat and in her eyes. M was yelling, "the light is in my eyes, the light is in my eyes." and for a moment I had no idea what she was talking about...than it hit me, she was talking about the sun. I had to explain to her that there was nothing that mommy could do to help get the sun out of her eyes.
Just funny that the weather has been so dark, cold and gray that she totally forgot what the sun what and what it looked like!
