I am not sure who all reads my blog, but I came across this site and I wanted to take a second to share it. This is an organization that has children in eastern Europe, who are in the different stages of HIV and tries to find them their perfect homes where they can receive the proper medical care and continue to live a very healthy life.
Like I said above, I am not sure who reads this blog, but if one person gets that tug at their heartstrings and have been thinking about the miracle of adoption and looks more into this organization, than I did my part.
If these sweet children are not adopted by a certain age, they have to be put out on the streets....and the streets are no place for a child to grow up! Please help spread the word about these adorable children looking for their forever homes!!

Our Vacation to St. Pete beach
The Webers went to St. Pete beach 2 weeks ago and I am just now getting some of the pics posted! We had a good time....we decided to save some money and drive down. If you ask me now if we would do that again, I would say "possibly". It was not as bad as we thought it was going to be and the girls were really good (for the most part).

Held for "RANSOM"
I know you are thinking..."what is she talking about??". Well let me explain. I have been following a wonderful blog that is helping 26 families with their adoption costs. They are wanting to raise $10k in 20 days and than pass it along to those 26 lucky families. The latest posting on this blog talks about the high expense of adoption a child either internationally or right here in the beautiful USA.
When you enter the adoption world, and find out about all the fees and how much it costs to adopt a child it will make you sick. So it may feel like you are "buying your baby"...well this wonderful blogger put it like this, instead of feeling like you are "buying your baby" how about you look at it like your baby is being held for "ransom". Just think about it!

Trying to figure it all out.........
Since entering the adoption world, adoption is ALWAYS on my mind and on my heart. I am always checking out different adoption agencies sites, why you ask?? I can not answer that. I am intrigued when I find a blog about adoption, see someone talking about adoption or hearing that another family is jumping in the adoption pool.
So I have been scratching my head trying to figure out what my purpose is. I guess when Josh and I started trying to have a biological child and that not working the thought of adoption just came to us naturally and I was at peace with not being able to have a biological child because I saw that we were ment to adopt, that there was a baby out there that was ment to be in our family and ment to be ours. Well that time has came and gone and now we sit with 2 beautiful little girls.
But I still sit here thinking that I need to "pay it forward". I am always willing to speak to people about the myths and truths of adoption, kinda holding their hand and guiding them through the clouds, helping them understand the process. But for some reason for me, that does not seem like enough. There has to be more out there for me, I am ment to do more....but what is it??
Well today I took the first step. As I was looking at some of the blogs that I follow there was one, one that caught my eye and the family was having a fundraiser to raise monies to bring home their blessing from over seas. I felt that I had to purchase a shirt and help this family.
It is just a weird feeling, but I HAD to do it. The shirt is beautiful and has a wonderful meaning..."Love is not a color". This is so true and if so many others could realize this our world would be a much more peaceful and wonderful place now and for our children.
I just want to add, that we get asked alot, "so are you guys done?" and my response is always, "NO". I do not have the "done" feeling. I feel that if there is a child out there that is ment to be with our family, than they will come to us. So "no" we are not done, just sitting back enjoying our girls and excited to see what the future has in store for us.

Little Prints
Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.
But every day I'm growing -
I'll be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away.
So here's a little handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.

Happy Birthmothers Day!
Yep, you read the title right, today is Birthmothers Day. I want to take the time to thank the 2 amazing, wonderful, sweet, loving, smart (I could go on and on) women who made the hardest decisions in their lifes to place their children with Josh and I. Without these strong women, I would not get to celebrate Mothers Day and have these 2 gorgeous little girls in my life.
We are thinking about you A & T and hope that you know how much we all love and admire you both!!!!

No More Binky?!?!?!?!?!

M has ALWAYS taken a binky, from the time she was born till now. Shortly after she turned one a weird rash appeared around her mouth and it took a couple trips to the doctors & different creams to figure out it was eczema. Well the doctor from that point on would say that the binky is not helping the matter and since she is one now, we really need to get rid of it. But I would stand there on defense and say, "well she only takes it at night and in the car, it is not like she is walking around talking with it in her mouth during the day!". Not sure why I felt like I had to defend our decision for not taking the binky away, but I did.
Well Josh took M for her 2 year check up ~ her rash was out of control on her face. We just figured that we had not applied her cream for a couple days and she had been eating alot of pizza and we figured that the sauce was not helping.
While they were there M pulls a binky out of the diaper bag and the doctor says, "that is not yours!?!?" and she proudly says, "yes". And the doctor tells Josh that we REALLY need to let go of the binky and she should not have one at all anymore. Once again, in my head was, "well she only takes it at night and in the car, so it is not hurting anything!!".
As I was driving home from work that day....a thought came into my head. I think that it is ME who does not want to loose the binky!!!!! As you are sitting there scratching your head wondering why it would be me...let me explain!
M is growing up so fast ~ no more bottles, no more crib, no more needing us to put on her shoes, no more being a baby...well that binky (I feel) is that last part of the baby inside her.
So I am going to have to suck it up, realize that M is a big girl and start to diminish the binky!
But she will always be my BABY!!!
