Wouldn't it be nice for our children to grow up and love one another no matter how dark or light their skin color is!?!?!
This is my dream for my children. For them not to see the color of someones skin as a negative thing but a beautiful thing. Right now we may have not experienced prejudice and yes, we have 2 adopted little girls who happen to be white. But our hearts have been WIDE open for a child of any color and hopefully we will be blessed enough with more children through the miracle of adoption, no matter what the color of their skin.
I took this picture at Disney. Two little girls, complete strangers having the time of their lives..giggling with one another as their mothers sat right beside them. Than one stretched out her hand, the other grabbed ahold. They held hands during the ride...they did not see color...they saw another one of them, another little girl with a smile on her face.
