Two years ago.........

This day will forever be in my head.....the day that we got a phone call that was about to change our lives forever.

We were at our neighbors house for their little girls b-day party, having a great time and adoption was the last thing on our minds at that time.

Josh's cell phone rang, he answered and he went upstairs to talk. That was odd to me so I followed him. He said that it was his mother telling him about a situation and gave us the birthmothers contact information. We asked for her to pass along our information and if the birthmother wanted to contact us that would be wonderful.

Well about 2 hours later, we were back home and Josh's cell phone rings again. He answers and than starts pacing and the tone in his voice changed. I was just sitting there on pins and needles wondering who this was, who was he talking to?

He hangs up the phone and tells me it was M's birthmother. We were both in SHOCK! He said that she was so sweet and said that her due date was February 14th and from there on we had weekly contact up till the day she was born.

We will never forget "A", she will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts! She gave us the greatest gift that you can ever give and we can never thank her enough! We will always tell M about her birthmother and the decision that she made for her.

We love you "A"!!!!
