We have never hidden the fact that our girls are adopted and from the beginning we always have talked about it, we have several books on adoption and make an effort to read them to the girls.
This evening as I was reading, "I wished for you" an adoption book to M, I asked her who was adopted and she says, "me & A" I said that was correct. As I continued reading the story, M says "I was adopted as a baby". I said that was correct that she grew in A's tummy and than mommy & daddy adopted her.
I told her that A's pictured was on her dresser and she said that she was unable to see it so I moved it to the front. M said that she wanted to hold it so I gave it to her and she says, "A is kissing me, I love her!!"
At that moment I had tears begin to swell in my eyes....just to hear M say that she loves A, because without A, we would not have M and we love her so much also!
